_Bionic Rockers – Tokyo – Japan The Bionic Rockers are founded on a DJ partnership stretching as far back as 1994. Working together for over 6 years in 2000 they realised it was time to build on this almost intuitive sound production partnership and added a studio element that since has been resulting in very interesting music. Just ask Hernan Cattaneo who’s been a fan for a while. A chance meeting and passing of their demo CD led to him choosing their latest track, ‘Code 0320’ for inclusion on his latest Renaissance compilation Renaissance Masters Volume 2. Can there be any higher recommendation? Maybe not but the shouts are starting to come thick and fast from the top echelons of dance music. Renaissance, the establishment as far as dance music goes were so impressed by the duo’s production talents they have signed the track for release this March together with The ‘Rockers special HigherFrequency remix. Picked and played by an envied list of top artists the track is currently sitting in the Balance Records Pool, the seal of approval from professional DJs. Oakenfold, another fan, has been regularly captivating audiences with Bionic Rockers track ‘Maiden Voyage’ in clubs around the world as well as the airwaves on his global radio show. Cosmic Blast, another future classic is being played by Hernan on his Metro radio show and their latest production, ‘Something Behind Mars’, has already made it’s dancefloor debut on Hernan’s current Renaissance tour. While no official release date has been set for any of these tracks yet you can be sure, like the Bionic Rockers, they’re something you’ll be hearing a lot more of in the future. Code 0320 is included on Hernan Cattaneo’s Renaissance Masters Album Vol2 released on 2005/02/14 The Code 0320 single along with the ‘HigherFrequency’ remix and selected DJ tools is out on Renaissance late March
