One of the true pioneers of electronic music in Australia Biz has been a key player in the game since the late eighties. He has had the chance to work with some of the world's greats from Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, thru to Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, Aphex Twin and just about every other dj/producer who has made their mark over the last two decade in the world of techno. As a producer Biz has released over 20 records worldwide thru UK and European distributors, and has been charted by the likes of Villabos, Dave Clarke and Derrick May. In 2005 he remixed Green Velvet’s La La Land for Ministry of Sound. He has run three record stores over the last two decades and compiled releases for labels such as Force inc and Detroit's legendary Submerge. He has worked with Roland promoting their dance product and he also co-promoted the legendary Flash parties, events that introduced Sydney to the pioneering artists of Detroit touring greats such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Claude Young, DJ Godfather and DJ Rolando. He also ran Chinese Laundry’s club night Technikal for two years which was the southern hemisphere’s equivalent to Berlin’s Tressor.
