A.k.a. Bjarne Landt Andersen Bob Anders (2) Bob Records (6) José Lando
Danish drummer, composer, band leader and owner of the label Bob Records (6). Born 1926 in Aalborg. After the first years with engagements in Aalborg, and touring in Denmark, Holland and Germany, including more than 50 radio broadcasts, he moved to Copenhagen in the late 40's and became a popular drummer in various groups playing contemporary popular-, jazz-, and old time styles for radio, television, concert and dance. He started to use his alias Bob Anders (2) during a short, 3-4 months imigration to USA in 1950, where he played with The Six Fat Dutchmen. From 1959 he lead his own band/bands (with different band names) using the Bob Anders alias, but also José Lando, and continued to play as a permanent or assistant member in a number of groups and orchestras - mainly as a drummer, but also as a singer and on other instruments. Played, among others, with Kai Mortensens Orkester, Henry Hansens Spillemandsorkester, Henry Hansen And His Orchestra, Ole Høyers Orkester, Willy Grevelunds Orkester, Svend Nicolaisens Orkester, Teddy Petersen Og Hans Orkester, Bror Kalles Kapel, and Danmarks Radios Underholdningsorkester.
