The Black Cats is an Iranian rock band that originally was formed in Tehran the late 1960s by شهبال شبپره (Shahbal Shabpareh). In the 1990 the band was being reborn in Los Angeles as a pop group. The original members are: حسن شماعیزاده = Hassan Shamaizadeh شبپره شهرام = Shahram Shabpareh فرهاد مهراد = Farhad Mehrad شهبال شبپره = Shahbal Shabpareh While band members and singers changed frequently over the next two decades, Shahbal Shabpareh has consistently remained the group's manager and producer.
