Black Rose is a NWOBHM ((New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) band from England and formed in the early 1980's. After splitting up in 1989 in part due to their frustrations and legal issues due to an American band with the same name halting sales of their K-tel US album release and K-tel abandoning the band and the album. Two original members of the band Steve Bardsley and Chris Watson decided to get back together and write some brand new material. In 2005 they released a CD on the Majestic Rock label called "Bright Lights Burnin - The Anthology" a collection of 15 songs from the 82-88 period and have released their 3rd studio album "Cure For Your Disease", an independent release available for download only in 2010.
