Jazz, Latin and Blues
The music of Bliks can be characterized as a blend of various styles: bossa nova, samba, jazz, blues, drum 'n' bass, with expressive lyrics in Serbian adding an authentic dimension to the soundscape. Bliks was founded in 2009 in Kragujevac, Serbia by Miloš Petrović, the bass player and main composer. The band was completed by Saša Ranković (drums), Aca Pejčić (piano), Ivan Ćirilović (guitar) and Tijana Radojević (vocals). Band An independent debut album Otkucaji was released in 2010, followed by the performances at the Film Palace Fest in Balchik, Bulgaria, at the cult Belgrade club Akademija and Dom sindikata in Kragujevac. After Tijana’s departure from the band, the vocal duties were taken over by Anđela Mrkalj. The band’s new single "For Happiness" was recorded in the Digimedia studio in 2011 and is accompanied by the video. Few days before the concert in Veliki Park, Kragujevac celebrating Music Day 2013 the band welcomes Ivana Petković.
