Formed from the song writing partnership of Rudat/Ryan (known for their work for Pigface) the band Blue Eyed Fools emerged in 2002 [with songs started as early as 2000] as a new voice of expression for Tristan and Patrick, who had been performing together since 1994 in the Providence/Austin Industrial band 151. Blue Eyed Fools was a way for Tristan and Patrick to explore a more electro / techno sound as well as a chance to expand lyrically and vocally. Studio contributions from various luminaries of the underground helped shape studio recordings while cutting edge video provides a visual experience that is totally unique to BEF.
