Texas quintet assembled in 1968 by Dewey Martin, original drummer in the Buffalo Springfield, to tour as "The New Buffalo Springfield". Included Randy Fuller, brother of the late Bobby Fuller of the Bobby Fuller Four. Stephen Stills and Neil Young took legal action to prevent Martin from using the "Buffalo Springfield" name, so Martin changed it to "Blue Mountain Eagle".
