International acoustic blues duo based in Basel, Switzerland, comprising Stefan Crollet (vocals, blues harp, percussion) and Lukáš Machata (rhythm guitar or bass guitar, backing vocals). Originally founded by guitarist Renato Rosic as a quartet in 2006. In 2008–2009 they were also appearing as “smarti.bluesalot.ch” with guest vocalist Silvia Marti. After Rosic’s departure in 2012 the group continued as a trio with Samuel Heller (lap steel resonator guitar) until 2014.
