Bob Brookmeyer With The Ed Partyka Orchestra
Madly Loving You

Album NL 2001 on Challenge Records label
Jazz (Post-Bop, Big Band)

This project was conceived as a way to honor Bob Brookmeyer on his seventieth birthday with newly written compositions or arrangements in his honor. Recorded September 3-5, 1999 in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Bob Brookmeyer solos on all tracks. The notation that three trumpets are tacet on tracks 6 and 9 means they are not heard on them. Tracks 8 and 9 are listed together with one track time, but are separately indexed. The individual time is given for each selection.
