Little is documented of Canadian fiddler Bob Scott. He led the Canadian Pioneers in playing square dances in the Toronto area in the 1950s, and published a folio of tunes (Bob Scott's Canadian Fiddle Tunes, BMI Canada, 1956). His composition "The White Water Jig" was recorded by Don Messer and became a fiddle standard.
