Bob Crane (born July 13, 1928, Waterbury, Connecticut, USA – died June 29, 1978, Scottsdale, Arizona, USA) was an American actor, drummer, radio host, and disc jockey. He is perhaps best known for his performance as "Colonel Robert E. Hogan" in the television sitcom Hogan's Heroes (1965-1971). Father of producer, engineer and radio host Scott Crane.
