Bob Curlee is an audio engineer and video producer in the West Columbia / Winnsboro, South Carolina USA area. As a 10 year old, he became a licensed HAM radio amateur. From 1967 to 1969 he was a member of the U.S Army Signal Corps and in the 1960s and 1970's he was a musician and sound engineer in various dance bands. Later, he established and operated Strawberry Jamm Studios, West Columbia, South Carolina, a music recording studio and was a lighting director for the South Carolina ETV Network (a public television network). He owned Strawberry Jamm Studios, West Columbia, South Carolina until 1986, when he formed a partnership with Gary Bolton, the owner of Higher Skys Recording Studio, to merge the two studios and create Strawberry Skys. In 1990, Bob opened Bob Curlee Productions in Winnsboro, South Carolina. From around 2003 to 2011, he was a contract Media Production Specialist with Midlands Technical College and, while continuing to do freelance work as a video producer for his own business, Curlee Productions. As of April 2011, Bob is a board member of the Fairfield County [South Carolina USA] Historical Society, and continues to operate Bob Curlee Productions.
