A.k.a. Robert Byron "Bob" Hapgood
Robert Byron "Bob" Hapgood was born on October 24, 1941 in McPherson, Kansas. In 1968 Bob began working for KNEX Radio in McPherson as a radio announcer and salesman. Over the years he had been a part of many bands in the area but his greatest role was being a founder, leader, and drummer for King Midas And The Muflers. In 2005, the band was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame of which he was a board member. He passed away on May 1, 2007 in Wichita, Kansas.
