Among the many artists he has collaborated with are Steely Dan, Rickie Lee Jones, The Manhattan Transfer, Kurt Elling, Burt Bacharach, Elvis Costello, Randy Newman, Chick Corea, Billy Childs, Scott Henderson, Michael Franks, John Beasley, and Marilyn Scott.
