A.k.a. Bobby Viteritti
More often referred to as Bobby Viteritti, his DJing name, Bobby originally hailed from the New York area. He got his DJing start at Keith's Cruise Room in Hallandale, Florida, just as the technique of beat-matching was starting to take off, later moving on to the Copa and the Marlin Beach Hotel. Perhaps his greatest DJ role was the Trocadero Transfer in San Francisco during the late 1970s through the early 1980s. His fans would eagerly await his famous remixes of Amanda Lear's "Follow Me" to which he would make weekly changes. After a dispute over salary he moved onto Dreamland, which was a newer club "Around The Corner," and eventually moved to Los Angeles to play at the Hollywood Palace among other venues.
