A.k.a. Robert Lawrence Welch, Jr.
Guitarist, August 31, 1945 – June 7, 2012. He joined the soul band The Seven Souls in 1964, then moved to Paris, where he formed Head West in 1969. The trio recorded one single album and a single, but stay without success. In 1971 he was invited to join Fleetwood Mac. After several album recordings and tours, he left in Dec. 1974. Once again he formed a trio, called Paris (19) this time. Second try, two albums here. In 1976 he released his first solo album. For detail information see the excellent wikipedia story.
