British jazz drummer. Born : August 15, 1928 in Cambuslang, Lanarkshire, Scotland. In the british jazz scene, from 1950s he worked (and co-founded) in the "Joe Harriott's Quintet" and played also with American jazz stars as Zoot Sims, Al Cohn, Milt Jackson, Dizzy Gillespie and many others.
