A.k.a. Robert Sharp, Jr. Agnes Jones
(1924-2013) American musician & songwriter. Original composer of the hit song "Unchain My Heart", first recorded by Ray Charles in 1961. Sharp sold the song in 1960 to producer Teddy Powell who demanded half of the writing credits. The two used the pseudonyms Agnes Jones (the name of Sharp's cousin) and Freddy James. Sharp released one single in 1956.
