Album US 1995 on TPOS label
Alternative (Punk)
Flexi disc in picture sleeve. 1200 pressed; of these, 10 copies came in a numbered "first day cover" in either pink or orange sleeves. The original concept was for this release to be pressed on two separate 3" mini-flexi discs (and due to be housed in a gatefold sleeve). However the only pressing plant capable of manufacturing these small-sized flexi-discs went out of business just before it was due to be pressed. (Note: These miniature flexi-discs were primarily manufactured as free gifts in breakfast cereal packets [properly known as "premiums"]). The musical concept behind this record was based around the story of a gentle British policeman (otherwise known as a "Bobby") who visits Los Angeles, USA, on a cultural exchange to learn about different police tactics and methods. Upon returning to the UK, this once gentle bobby happily enforces the law with some extreme and gratuitous violence.
