"Bobby Love is a New Orleans born and bred musician and entertainer who is related to Louis Armstrong through his mother Doris Armstrong . He is an exciting performer who still maintains that New Orleans flavor. During the course of his development he has had the opportunity to be the Band Captain, Student Director, Drum Major, and a State Champion as each at his high school, Booker T. Washington, in New Orleans. He performed in the Grambling State University Band before becoming a member of the United States Air Force Band of the South at Keesler Air Force Base. He has performed before the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra and with The Music Factory, Oliver Cornin and the Rocketts; Disco Lady songster Johnnie Taylor, and on shows with The Emotions, Natalie Cole, Roy Ayers, The Gap Band, Tyrone Davis and on the Kool Jazz Festival tour. He has made many appearances at The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. He has been coast to coast, border to border and several foreign countries. He has returned from Los Angeles, California to New Orleans, Louisiana where he suffered a serious accident in which he was thrown from a car on I-10. However he is now producing in the recording studios and has returned to live performances"
