Body was a short-lived, visual kei 'big name' band, formed by the former D'Erlanger members Ichiro Takigawa (Cipher (6)) and Tetsu Kikuchi (菊地哲) (ex-Yokosuka Saver Tiger, Mephistopheles, and Zi:Kill) in July 1992. The bassist Motoki Okada (ex-Deep's and Magier Sexualis) joined in March 1993. The band made a guest appearance and played just one song at the Rockin' F magazine presented "Subliminal Vision" show at the Shibuya Kokaido on May 3rd, 1993, with Die In Cries, Zi:Kill, and L'Arc~en~Ciel. The vocalist for Body at that time was Hirokazu Nakagome, who left the band shortly after. In July 1993, after auditioning they've got a new vocalist Naoki Kimura (later sang for the reformed Reaction (10) in 2006), and in February 1994 they played the special "Body showcase" free concert at the Shibuya Kokaido for 2000 selected fans. Followed by the first single and album releasess in April 1994, the band played their real debut concert at the Nippon Budokan (!!!) on May 14th, 1994, which ended up being their first and only legit concert before breaking up two month after.
