Album US 2001 on Rok Lok Records label
Rock (Indie Rock)
Proud. That would be a word to describe this release as not only does the music help paint a more diverse picture of Long Island but heck Jon K. did a nice job on the layout of this sweet record. Bookstore was definitely one of the most revered band in the little eastern Long Island scene. Something about their catchy indie rock tunes sent the kids into a fervor. Suddenly you didn't have to be pointing to the sky and piling on to enjoy a band. Come on who didn't absolutely love the sincerity of "The Aquarium Song"? For fans of Built to Spill or The Lemonheads. 1100 pressed with eight page fold out and a solid white tray.
