From 1980 Bio: Boot Hill Express originally began as a country western house band at a small bar in Norfolk, Virginia. In January 1976 the group was called "Streets O' Dawn" however after the arrival of Doc hearl and Rick Price the name was changed and the music shifted towards country rock. In June 1977 the band began playing local concerts and night clubs and has since then established itself as one of Tidewater's best and most versatile.
