Single CH 1966 on Royal Splendid Records label
Jazz and Blues (Dixieland)
Privately released first demo EP by The Bourbon Street Jazz-Band from Frenkendorf (a suburb of Basel, Switzerland) The record is housed inside an oversized sleeve the size of about 8" x 7", that is much taller than your normal 7" sleeve. Swiss made EP from 1966 with black / silvery Royal Splendid labels. Royal Splendid used to be a label from Munich, Germany, that came with several Swiss, and German bands on it. Recorded: 22. July 1966 at Ruba Beerli & Co. in Basel, Switzerland. It got most likely pressed through Studiotechnik A. Gysin & Co. (from Basel, Switzerland), just like the first Dynamites, and Les Diables Rouges EP's. The front cover has got the band pictured on a ferry at the river Rhine in the city of Basel, Switzerland.
