A.k.a. Bram van Kempen
Bram started deejaying somewhere around 1990. Hip-hop was the thing back then. He caught the house music virus In 1992/93. He chose not to limit himself to one genre within house music. To him only the combination of just good music and the vibe the audience can extract is important. If you really need to categorize him it's groovy tech house with a wide variety of clubby and progressive influences. He has had several residencies in club and venues in and arround Rotterdam and abroad: Tenerife, Italy and France. Lately Bram VanK has been very busy getting on AIR on different radio shows: He has his own mix-show at a regional radio station in the south of Holland on Radio Decibel hosted by Marcel Storms. Every Saturday between 22:00 and 23:00. And also every first Thursday of each month: DJ@Night, were Marcel Storms and Bram invited other dj's to play the decks with Bram. Boom Breakin Beats, every last friday of each month: Bram VanK & Friends. Several other local and regional radio stations have invited him to play the decks on the air. In 2000 Bram started to invest in a studio to make his own tracks. Under aliases like Groove Doctor, Funkstar Criminal, R.B. Fusion and Max Dione he made it into several dance charts all over the world since. Major DJ's play his tracks, for example: Carl Cox, Seb Fontaine (BBC Radio One), Fergie (BBC Radio One), Graham Gold (Kiss FM), Armin van Buuren (ID&T), Satoshi Tomiie and Misja Helsloot Some major projects can be expected where Bram joins up with major songwriters. For example: Bram VanK feat. Tony C., Gesture Music.
