A.k.a. Andrea Calabrese

Andrea Calabrese (born in 1988) has a considerable musical background which first developed at an early age, when he began to collect house music, funk & soul, disco and many other music genres. He began performing as a DJ in 2004, in collaboration with several local venues, and in 2006 he won the first place at a contest competing with many well-known DJs from his area of south Italy. During those years he strengthened the foundation for his future career through a broad musical culture, and expanded into soulful music and classic House. In 2011 he started working as a producer, in partnership with important music labels such as Nervous Records, King Street Sound, and Hed Kandi; in 2012 he collaborated with a local radio station for the broadcast “House Master Radio Show”, focusing on house and soul music, and was on air for an entire season as speaker and music selector. In 2016 he reached a turning point with his new project “Bress Underground ” and released his first same-titled EP, totally in line with the Classic House ’90s. Andrea brings novelty to every DJ set, resulting from constant and thorough research, trying always to provide his audience with the right sound. In 2016 he established the solely vinyl and digital label BRESS RECORDS. In 2019 the first album was born: Child in Space. With his humble demeanour and steady progression, he has made himself a name in the House music scene, which also led him to perform in venues out of italy. More news will follow soon! Enjoy the Vibe!
