This DVD brings together Brian Eno's "ambient videos" Mistaken Memories of Mediaeval Manhattan and Thurdsay Afternoon, which were originally exhibited in art installations and subsequently released on videotape and laserdisc. This DVD contains both vertical and horizontal viewing formats. Mistaken Memories Of Mediaeval Manhattan consists of 7 parts: Dawn Menace Towers Lights Empire Appearance Lafayette Filmed by Brian Eno in New York, 1980-81 Originally treated and assembled in New York and Toronto by Brian Eno Re-assembled by Brian Eno, London, September 1987 Assistance Michael Brook Thursday Afternoon: Seven video paintings of Christine Alicino Filmed in San Francisco, April 1984 Treated and assembled at Sony Corporation, Tokyo Recorded at Daniel Lanois' Grant Avenue Studios, Canada and produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois Includes booklet with excerpts from interviews with Brian Eno
