Sleeve notes in French and English Manufactured in the U.K. Recorded February 1982 To play the quartet by Carter, the string quartet is divided into two duos: Violin I + Cello and Violin II + Viola. The 4 movements numbered B1 to B4 are played by the first duo, while simulteaneously the movements numbered Ba to Bf are played by the second duo.
