A.k.a. Robin Mullarkey, Anna Stubbs
Brotherly are soul-mates Anna Stubbs (vox) and Robin Mullarkey (multi-instrumentalist). Together they write quirky extended songs which belong on the dancefloor and yet constantly reference the rich jazz background that they had each acquired as gigging musicians in 90s/00s London. The earliest release "A Little Trouble" gained interest as a standout track from Hospital's Outpatients 3, and Put It Out was a very popular track at the Co-Op club and throughout the brokenbeat community. The long awaited debut LP "One Sweet Life" answers a lot of questions about Brotherly and shows them to be an exciting and promising project.
