Songwriter

Songwriter and screenwriter, born 15 January 1938 in New York City, died 21 February 2006 in New York City. He is best known for writing the lyrics to the 'Sesame Street' theme song as well as other children and teenager oriented music but also (co-)wrote songs like Mama Cass' 'One Way Ticket'. Hart often collaborated with Stephen J. Lawrence and his wife Carole Hart.
