Bruce Kurnow is an American multi-instrumentalist and composer from Minneapolis, Minnesota and now based in the San Francisco Bay area. Best known for his folk and Celtic music recordings, Kurnow had released 39 albums by 2012 and has appeared on over 175 releases by other artists. His Peaceful Journey Music website, launched in 2011, focuses on his blending of acoustic music with ambient and New Age to create music for reducing stress and for relaxation. Kurnow studied piano, stringed harp, guzheng (Chinese harp), voice, theory and composition at the University of Minnesota. He won four Minnesota Music Awards for his harmonica, stringed harp and keyboard work.
