Album US on Paramount label
Country (Country)
Despite the use of the same pseudonym "Bud Kelly," side A is thought to be not by Buck Nation, but by Leroy Montesanto. Side A might have been recorded ca. March, 1932 in Grafton, WI. However, it might also have been recorded by a different company (possibly Crown Record Co. Inc.) and renumbered by The New York Recording Laboratories, as label does not show an L prefix. Side B recorded ca. February-March 1927 in New York, NY. Side A matrix no. L1441-2. Side B matrix no. 2345-A. Some credits, recording dates and matrix numbers reported in Tony Russell (2004) "Country Music Records: A Discography, 1921-1942." Credit role of fiddle for Murray Kellner on side B is termed "probable."
