Band, GB
Singer of Rock and Blues
Variously known as The Bughouse 5, The Bughouse Five or just plain Bughouse Five, this Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, roots/rockabilly group rose out of the ashes of The Nervous Fellas. Former The Rockin' Edsels singer Shaun "Butch" Murphy, a.k.a. Butch "Big Boy" Murphy, has been the constant thread through the many lineup changes, as well as being the primary songwriter. One notable ex-Bughouse Five and ex-Nervous Fellas is internationally recognized standup bass player Ronnie Hayward.
