Bunt Stafford-Clark began his musical journey at the age of 7 with classical violin. Switching to drums while at school he formed a rock band with composer /guitarist Andy Roberts (3). Continuing to develop his musical skills he worked the UK, European and North African circuits backing visiting US artists including Clyde McPhatter and Nina Simone. At the end of the 60's he began a parallel career in studios as an assistant working with producer Mickie Most on numerous projects. During the 70's Bunt divided his time between playing drums as a regular session musician both in the studio and on the road and as a freelance engineer for studio and live recording. He started his mastering career with The Town House shortly after the doors opened in 1979 and has been continuously involved with the studio until it's closure early in 2008. During that time he worked with hundreds of artists and mastered thousands of records in just about every conceivable form of music. In 1984 he co-founded the recording arm of the world music label Triple Earth. In 2010 he works as a mastering engineer at Pierce Entertainment.
