Burton Wilson

American photographer b: 19 October 1918, Vermont d: 2 June 2014, Austin, Texas Got a degree in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1941 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war, he moved to Dallas and then Austin, where he studied photography at the University of Texas under renowned documentary photographer Russell Lee.
