A.k.a. Hugh Brooker and Seb Wronski
Hugh Brooker first cut his teeth at Acid Jazz Records releasing five albums under the guise of Night Trains and The Humble Souls. Recording, touring, working with and remixing with artists as varied as Africa Bambaata, Earth Wind & Fire, Jamiroquai and The Brand New Heavies. He then set up Super Villain Records with Fat Boy Slim’s manager Gary Blackburn. Their first release was the music from Gary Oldman’s British Academy award winning film 'Nil By Mouth' and then most recently the album 'Outside Looking In' under his new guise 'The Merchant of Menace', which achieved cult status as Steve Lemacq’s Record of the Week on his evening Radio 1 show and was also voted album of the month by Ministry of Sound. Seb Wronski originally signed to dance label React Records under the name Seb. He enjoyed international underground club hits with 'Rainbow Islands' and 'Sugar Shack'. More recently he set up Bubble Gum City recording studios and has focused on re-mixing and production work. For their new album 'Devils, Sharks and Spaceships' the BUSFACE duo have teamed up with multi-million selling artist Sophie Ellis Bextor for a duet on the new track 'Circles (Just My Good Time)'. Their collaboration came about as a returned favour for BUSFACE remixing duties on 'Murder on the Dancefloor' from her hit album 'Read My Lips'. As well as Sophie’s contribution, BUSFACE have also secured the vocal talents of Moby’s live front person, Diane Charlemagne, on the track 'U R The Future' and Spider Johnson from Lee Perrys Upsetters on 'Hanging Around'.
