Butler In The Hey!
Formed in 1991, Butler In The Hey! became a dance and party staple around the Sunshine Coast music scene until 1996 when they discontinued the project.. In 1993, BITH released a debut live album (on cassette and 8-track cartridge only!) called You Rang? and supported it with two short tours to the Kootenays in southeastern BC. A followup CD was released in 1995 called Philosophagus, but unable to retain a bass player packed it in the following year, with members moving on to other musical projects. In 2013, three of the original core members joined forces with new bassist Ohan Vandermeer to resurrect BITH for the 21st century. After an 18 year hiatus, the boyz are back and stronger than ever, playing well supported shows in Roberts Creek and beyond.
