Buz Butler

A.k.a. Ellis Butler, Jr.

American singer and dobro player. Butler is best known for having performed the original version of "Mule Train" in 1947. He played with Gene Autry and the Cass Country Boys . He recorded for Decca and Mercury in the 1940s and 1950s. Buz retired to Lake City, Florida in 1973 but continued to play in local bands. Butler pasted away in July, 2002.
