Byron E. Burke has worked in the music and consulting industry for over twenty seven years. He began at the age of 13 as a gifted trumpet player and dj on the Westside of Chicago, as well as a chorographer and member of the Shy Boy’s dance group. By the age of 16, he was recognized as leading dj from the Westside of Chicago. Byron Burke signed his first record deal with DJ International Records under the group named “B Rude, Inc” that featured Byron Stingily as the lead singer for one event. By the age of 19, Byron became the Vice President for Burstinglaw Music Productions (Burke-Stingily-Lawson) in Chicago, Illinois. His unique ability to compose, produce and critique songs, stage performances, including marketing & promotion strategies, has made him a pioneer in the music industry. Byron was the creative force behind the legendary house music band from Chicago named Ten City. He co-wrote, produced and remixed songs on the “Foundation” and “State Of Mind” albums for Atlantic Records, including “No House Big Enough” for East/West Records, and “That Was Then, This Is Now” for Columbia Records. These albums produced ten Top 20 Billboard Magazine dance songs, five Top 10 Billboard Magazine Sales Chart Singles, ten Top United Kingdom Pop Chart Singles, including a Gold Plaque from Tusk Music, South Africa and a Silver Plaque from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), United Kingdom. In January 1999, Burke decided to further his education by attending a continuing studies program at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. called “Business 16, From Idea to IPO” This 10 week course taught students how to plan, fund, execute, and attain liquidity for a start-up company in Silicon Valley. Topics covered included researching and writing a business plan, protecting your invention, gathering advisers, raising money, developing an operating plan, hiring and firing, managing success and failure, and selling or taking your company public. Byron Burke – Calling into Ministry After having a vision of an airplane crashing into a building 4 days before September 11, 2001 and a life changing experience on the evening of October 30, 2001 in Time Square on 7th Ave. (Between 45th & 44th St.), Byron gave his life to Jesus on December 16th, 2001 at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, IL. In January 2002, he began his bible studies at Crenshaw Christian Centre East, New York under the direction of Apostle Frederick K.C. Price. In addition to his bible studies in New York, he traveled every month to Memphis, TN and studied the Word of God under the direction of Apostle Lincoln B. Dent of DOMINION & PRAISE GLOBAL OUTREACH MINISTRIES / SMTC who also confirmed his calling as an Apostle on April 24th, 2002. On May 29th, 2002 Byron developed and spearheaded a weekly Internet bible study group called New City Ministries International / Byron Burke Ministries. The Bible studies were held every Tuesday evening in AOL or Yahoo chat rooms that began attracting hundreds of people from around the world. Dr. Creflo Dollar of World Changers Ministries anointed Byron on July 28, 2003 at Madison Square Garden in New York City as well as Pastor Benny Hinn on July 20, 2004 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Today, Burke leads BB Media Global Group, leveraging his experience to help clients embrace the new concepts and ideas that help drive new customers and see long term growth by using biblical principles. BB Media Global Group is a boutique media and business development consulting firm that strengthens & reinforces brand awareness by using creative and charismatic communication strategies that will attract new customers, build customer loyalty, and reduce cost by implementing well-organized marketing & business techniques for start-ups, as well as established corporations throughout North America & Europe. In addition to his duties at BB Media Global Group, he began his undergrad studies at DePaul University in January 2010 to obtain his BA in Business Development & Entrepreneurship. On December 16, 2010, he became an inducted member of DePaul’s Golden Key International Honor Society chapter for academic excellence as well as a 2011- 2013 DePaul University SNL Dean Scholarship recipient.
