Aerotek is proud to present probably one of the most significant releases in our history since our inception in 2013. We embarked on this journey with one goal in mind: to provide top tier underground music to the masses. Since its inception, there has been remarkable growth and support, from a wide array of artists and avid music listeners alike. From its humble beginnings, we can confidently say that our growth has been on a consistent increase, as we continuously strive on signing bigger artist and help molding the professional sounds of underground Techno. We have had the pleasure of watching our artists grow similarly parallel to our own path, and it truly makes us proud to see this growth and all the effort all of us have put forth in this current turbulent state of electronic music. There is no doubt that we will continue on fighting the good fight, and never give up on our goals in sight. Without further a due, it is with distinct pleasure we present to you our standout release from extremely talented artist and good friend, Byron Gilliam and his EP titled, 'Spirits Calling'! Since the first time we heard a production from Byron, we were instantly hooked! Byron provides this special sense of raw, calculated sounds that perfectly blend together, to provide the listener with a superb balance of gritty, but rather organic techno, which is our preferred style. Having the right balance of these two factors, makes it for a rather noticeable difference, and it surely peaks the interest of its listeners. We believe that its important to have this right balance, as some tracks may seem either too mechanical robotic like, or too organic, which lacks futuristic qualities. So to have both qualities, it covers both spectrums of these two factors, and provides something unique to everyone. We love hard techno, but with a great groove and swing. At first glance, it's pretty obvious to see that we are serious in moving forward with a specific look and feel for our image and releases. This release has quality written all over it. From the tracks itself, to the cover art, to the description. We are very detailed oriented, and we hope that this stand out to you. Byron provided two versions of his stellar track. The original, which starts off with his hypnotic intro, to the body/bulk of the track, which is futurist and groovy hard techno with a touch of acid. The intro version of his track, serves perfectly for that purpose alone, to wish you well on the beginning of your journey, which the concept portrays if you listen to the vocals. It's a very creative approach indeed, and once we heard it, we knew we had to have it. THEN...you have these remixes. We cannot even begin to describe the importance of this entire package. We are beyond proud to have Andy Notalez, label owner of Yellow Recordings, to start off in the remix package with his rendition. My god, what an honor it is to have him. His remix speaks for itself, so we hope you thoroughly enjoy it, the same way we did. Then we have TKNO and Steel Grooves which is the icing on the cake. All these remix artists were very calculated moves, to the sound we wanted to portray for this release, and they all absolutely crush it.
