Born in Nice (France), 1961. Céleste Boursier-Mougenot working what he calls himself sound forms "living" facilities that unfold in time and space correspondence, equivalences between sculpture and uncertainties and music. From the mid 1990s, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, while musician for the theater, considering the space of the gallery and the museum as the singular locus of his compositions.
