He was a true master of the melodic song with haughty and vibrant voice knew their way and succeed becoming one of the pioneers of new music Olera of our country. His appearance marked the starting point of the legion of young singers who decided to venture into the Peruvian musical environment. And he sang from their distant student days as a student of the Leoncio Prado Military Academy, marked by the influence of his father who by this time was an outstanding musician and director of a prestigious orchestra dance rhythms. "El Mono" enjoyed the unqualified admiration of his followers to the fateful day of his death, the August 9, 1993.
