Cabezas de Cera is a progresive rock, jazz and experimental band music from Mexico. They play whistle, chapman stick, didgeridoo, zurna, among other instruments, they also use instruments manufactured by themselves, mainly in metal. Cabezas de Cera began as a trio in 1995 with brothers Mauricio and Francisco Sotelo and Cristóbal Pliego. Along 17 years There have been several alignments. His music is characterized by a combination of an unconventional instrumentation with unique instruments created by the group's percussionist, which results in a sound of its own, experimental and contemporary, local and at the same time universal, finding a balance between the acoustic and the electronic.
