A.k.a. Café Con Leche
One of the most popular rock bands in Costa Rica during the decade of the '80s, and is one of the most important in its music history. It was founded in 1984 and led by the duo of José Capmany and Enrique Ramírez (3) with a concept that combined music with lyrics laden humor or parodies everyday, a genre in which were innovative and unique. José Capmany played guitar and sang, while Ramirez was responsible for conducting the humor and sounds with a comb . Due to differences in personal and artistic type, the couple decided to separate in 1987. José Capmany continued a recognized musical career in the Costa Rican environment, using the first name of the band until 1995, then as a solo venture. Meanwhile, his former partner had a low and more low profile, until the death of both in 2001 in different and tragic circumstances.
