Album US 2009 on Daytrotter label
Electronic and Rock (Downtempo, Indie Rock)
Track 1: Unreleased - "This is a new song. It's not on any of my current releases. It's about wanting to sleep." Track 2: Original version appears on Sparklace - "'Every Week Ends' was originally created with my sampler alone. I messed around with the flute samples and the beat for a long time before it became what it is now. This appears on SPARKLACE." Track 3: Original version appears on Sparklace - "When I wrote this, I was basing everything around an ambient vibraphone loop I created at home. The melody and chord changes came last. I wanted to cycle them around the droned vibraphone sample. I usually don't play the piano live. This is extra special Daytrotter studio fun. This also appears on SPARKLACE." Track 4: Original version appears on Illuminated Manuscript - "This one was originally an instrumental I wrote for Aloha. It never got used so I put it on ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT, my first album. I wrote the lyrics with a piano in the dressing room the night before this Daytrotter session. 'Moccasin Bend' is an area in Chattanooga TN, where I was born. I always loved this song, but it wasn't complete until now. Again, a special Daytrotter moment." Available as 128kbps mp3s or lossless files.
