Music from a festival of musicians from Niger River valley, and it's a testament to the wonderful and diverse contemporary instrumental and vocal music of West Africa. Its influences are strikingly diverse, from traditional African music to avant garde jazz. The performances are by musicians from Mali, Senegal, as well as Tunisia, France and England.
