Carl or Calle Öst, born on January 19, 1908 in Alfta, Hälsingland and died on February 13, 1988 in Edsbyn, Hälsingland, was a Swedish singer and musician (violin and guitar). He grew up in a family that was imbued with music. He was a son of the nationwidely known fiddler Jon-Erik Öst, a brother of both musicians Eric Öst and Eddy Öst and singer Anna Öst.
