Cellist, born in Lebanon. Carla received her musical training at the Music Academy in Beyrouth and at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec in Montreal where she graduated with a first prize in the cello class of Dorothy Bégin in 1984. From 1987 to 1991, she worked with professor Tobiass Kuhne at the Academy of Music in Vienna. Carla has appeared as soloist with chamber music ensembles and as a member of various orchestras in Canada, Austria and Japan. She was also a laureate of the Orchestre symphonique de Québec Competition in 1986. From 1990 to 1994, she was a faculty member of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
