Born: 10 May 1967 in Houston, Texas, USA. Vocalist and keyboardist. After moving to the UK in the early 1990's, she has been involved with many projects over the years inside the soul and jazz realms, and is a regular at London jazz club, Ronnie Scotts. Carleen is the daughter of Vicki Anderson and the stepdaughter of Bobby Byrd, her cousins are sisters Jhelisa and Pamela Anderson (aka P.Y. Anderson), whilst James Brown was her godfather.
